Hi @Tristen89
This issue discussed here in the thread has been resolved with official releases. If anyone encounters a similar problem, please ensure you're running the latest official firmware on your TP-Link device.
We also provide a newer and pre-release version of firmware in the following thread to introduce a host of new features and optimizations, it's suggested to upgrade and install the pre-release version to explore more new features:

Hi @MysticMac
Sorry that we don't get advanced notice of when a feature update will be available for Archer C6 V4. Since I am not in software development, I cannot provide a definite answer. We recommend keeping an eye on our official website for any new firmware updates if there would be any.
Thank you.

Hi @Joseph-TP
"Please pay more attention to the firmware updates on the official website." This comes across as rude & dismissive.
Especially as we are here as customers having purchased a TP Link product to ask for help & assistance, from TP Link's customer services representatives on this forum.
It's from paying attention to the firmware updates on the official website - that we are both here asking about an official release. Because we cannot find any further information regarding firmware updates on the official website at this time - that we have posted on the forum to ask for additional information & help. If the information that we're requesting is not actually available on the official website - then how can paying more attention to the official website assist us.
If you do know where on the official website the information is that we're requesting, then perhaps you could kindly post it here for us both, thus helping & assisting us with our request. It might very well be that we have missed this information - which is why we are here asking for help & assistance. Otherwise again if the information is not there, then no amount of paying attention is going to change that.
Can you contact your software development team to ask them for an update please?

Hi @Tristen89
I understand your expectation for the official firmware update, and I hope to give you a clear answer. But as I said before, I am not a software developer, so I have no idea when the official version will be released.
Generally speaking, the official version of the firmware release needs to go through multiple processes, and it must take into account the official versions of the firmware in multiple countries. It needs to go through testing, feedback and summary, and there are many other process steps that are not within my scope of responsibility.
However, after consulting the engineers of the relevant departments, the reply I got was that the official version of the firmware should be officially launched in the near future.
For the official firmware release, it is generally on the product interface: Archer C6 V4
You can log in to the official website to check if there is an update when needed?
Thank you.
