Model: Deco X50-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi

I am in the UK for background .

I have a new BT/EE Wifi 6 Router which is awful [guaranteed wired speeds of 700MBPS ( FTTP ) and I get 30MBPS wireless in the same room 2m away on a Wifi 6 Device !! ) ] - Doing battle with them for the last one month.

Anyway I want to replace this with the Deco X50 Outdoor and have connected it to the main OpenReach Box - however I am getting a constant red light .

If I connect it wired to the BT/EE router ie as an Access Point - its working fine .

Can the X50 Outdoor not work as a router ?

I also have 4 other X50s dotted around the house - if the Outdoor version of Deco X50 doesn't work as a router - can I use it as a repeater / extender and use one of the other X50s as a router ? As I really need a different router .

Many Thanks for any advice / suggestions anyone can offer .

@tiya1990 It does work as a router.  Probably need to put the BT/EE router into Bridge Mode or IP Passthrough...
