Hello support,

My first KIT TL-WPA8631P stopped working so I bought a brand new TL-WPA8631P (no kit, just wifi module).

It works fine, but to configure it I was looking for the scheduled reboot option. I could not find it.

Can you confirm that TP-Link has removed this feature?

Best regards

Hi  @ironmanc

Thank you for posting on the TP-Link community, and we certainly appreciate all your feedback and feature request(s) here.

The reboot feature is not currently available for all hardware versions of the powerline adapter, including TL-WPA8631P V4.

While we don't have any specific details that I can share around if reboot feature can come to the powerline adapter, or when it might, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.

I'm moving this conversation into the ‘Feature Request (powerline adpter)' area and tagging it as a ‘Future Consideration’ for better visibility.

Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.

Hi,

Are you absolutely certain that your previous TL-WPA8631P had a scheduled reboot option?

What is the hardware version of the faulty TL-WPA8631P? (as per the S/N sticker on the device's backside)

Hi @woozle.

I'm sorry, but I no longer have the old kit and I don't remember anything about the firmware and hardware version. I bought it 1 year ago on Amazon and replaced it with the new one.
What I am (at this point) moderately certain of is that I had set it to reboot every morning at 7 am.
