Hello team.. well, I just purchased a Deco AXE5400 model to have a good Internet cover in all the house.. I have a 1gbps bandwith ISP...  after installed the Deco, that was great because I had near 800mbps on each corner of the house.

Well.. after some days using it, I chequed that I can access both NAS that I have but only from my phones.. I could not access the NAS using the PCs or vía DLNA using the TVs..

Ok, reading a little.. I learned that I shuold change the deco mode to access point to access the NAS disks.

Once I changed the DECO to access point, I can access the NAS but the  Internet speed provided is just  250mb or 300mb..  is like being access point the DECO cannot provide the full bandwith of the ISP...

The problem of course is the double NAT using, when you use the deco as access point, the IPs are in the same range.

There is something that should be changed to have the 1gbps Internet  (or 800mb) but using the deco as access point?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my poor english.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Are the satellite Deco XE75 units wirelessly connected? Or through the Ethernet cables?

"Once I changed the DECO to access point, I can access the NAS but the  Internet speed provided is just  250mb or 300mb"

-is the speed test from the main Deco?

Since Deco XE75 could also work as a DHCP router, have you tried to remove the ISP gateway, and set Deco as the only router?

Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

Hello   @David-TP  !!!

Thanks for your reply! And sorry for my late answer.

Concerning your questions:

1. The configuration is, the main Deco XE75 is conmected with eth cable and the other 3 Deco are connected vía wireless.

2. The test that I executed is against the Deco thst I was connected, sometimes against the main one, other times against one of the satellites...

It is courious, because using a file explorer from the phone (android) I can access the two nas that I have connected, but of course the laptop is diferent, because the nas cannot be added as network units, I do not know if I can try I kind of file manager for PC?

In addition, I have two TVs that using DLNA can see the disks to see pictures, movies, music.. but that is not possible using the Deco as router as well.

For your last question, I have the devices near the ISP provider connected directly to it with eth cable, the main tv, the ps5 and the other two cables, one is used to connect a little hub to connect the two NAS and the other one is free for different uses when I need eth connections to work.

Using the deco as router, maybe I can disable the dhcp and leave the IPs asignation in the same range from the isp provider? I do not know if is that possible...

Thank you!!!!
