Are the wifi HP Laserjet 400 printers as well as the mobile/PC all connected to the Host router WiFi or RE500X?

- Did you set the same SSID on RE500x as the WiFi of the Host router?

- And if you try to ping the IP address of the printer on the PC, will you get any response here- How to Use the Ping Command

Thanks for your detailed reply.

After several days of trying to solve the problem, I have decided that the problem canonly be a failed wifi module in the printer. It conincided with chaning to a TP-Link routers and the mega DANA electrical storm in my area that lasted for 3 hours while all the damage was being done in Valencia. There were a few power surges and I think the wifi circuit board has been blown. 

I'll try another printer (my current one is also quite old) and let you know what happens.
