Hi There, I have 3 Deco E4R's in a mesh. One main unit, and one wired and one wireless connected as well. I have an Airplay receiver, and are having endless issues with the receiver only appearing intermittently as a selectable destination on my iphone, for example when wanting to play Spotify to airplay receiver. When I connect receiver and iphone to a stand-alone fortinet AP, the airplay works fine. I have tried turning on and off IGMP snooping with no success. Please advise?

Hi, welcome to the community.

I noticed you had the Deco E4 for a while. Did this issue start recently?

Please try to disable "Fast Roaming" and "Beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

 

By the way, Would it help if there is only the main Deco E4 left in the Mesh system(temporarily power off the satellite Deco units)?

I tried your advice and turned off "Fast Roaming" and "Beamforming" but with no effect. The airplay receiver and sender are usually connected to the wireless satellite unit. I powered it off, and forced them to connect to the main unit. Now the airplay works fine.

 

However, I really need them to work from the satellite .... what is the cause of this?
