Well yeah, I'd agree, that could be anytime! I've just checked that model out and it states " EasyMesh-Compatible", which going by their history could well be 2027!!!

@October31 I managed to get Amazon to return both devices, which was a lot easier than I thought. I'm back to my EE router until I find a decent enough mesh system. Annoyingly, TP-Link are the most budget friendly mesh devices on sale at the moment

I kept my Archer 550 and just returned the extender.

so as a stop gap I got theRE 705x it's not tri band but it's more workable being an easymesh compatible device.

Like you it's cost effective for me.

But they need to sort their roll outs better and be more efficient.

  @October31 ah, not a bad idea. Is that the Archer BE550? I did think about ordering two of those to create a mesh network, but realised they aren't cheap lol.

Yes it is the Archer BE550.

Apart from the smaller, plug in extender there's the RE800BE.

But again "coming soon"😂

I'll think I'll spend sometime researching some mesh devices.
