Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.3 Build 20240628 rel.37017(4555)

Hi,

i have four Archer AX55 V1 routers, one acting as my main router and the other three as satellite. All routers are in AP mode. All have the 1.3.3 Build 20240628 rel.37017(4555) version that allows ethernet backhaul.

All four routers are connected to the same LAN.

When starting or rebooting one of these routers, i got a short network loop until the ethernet backhaul works.
Is it possible to disable the wireless backhaul to avoid network loops?

Another question:
If i only use ethernet backhaul, is it possible to set an own wifi channel for each router to avoid interference?

Is one of this features planned for one of the next firmware versions?

Hi,

I have confirmed with the engineering team that the situation you describe is normal.

EasyMesh will build a wireless connection first, after it detect the wired connection, it will switch to Ethernet backhaul automatically.

  @Sunshine

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

A network loop is not optimal, as it crashes the whole network for a few minutes every time i reboot one of the AX55 routers.
So, for the future, is it possible to add a function, that allows to disable wireless backhole?
