Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20240723

Please bring "QOS" in Access Point mode on Deco X20 version 3.8 (IN).

It will really helps us in controlling the amount of MAXIMUM data could be sent to one device.

Sometimes downloading a 80gb Steam game or 60gb Remux movie fetches full speed to PC i,e, 200mpbs  ( I have a plan of 200mbps)  and this results in getting just 2-6 mbps speeds on rest of the devices connected to Deco x20 in Access Point Mode.

Hence I request you to please provide this feature "QOS" in access point mode as well.

I can only connect to Access Point in Deco as my ISP router does not provide bridge mode.

Thankyou

Hi,

In AP mode, QoS settings cannot be supported because network activities are controlled by the main router.

In this situation, the Deco operating as an access point is unable to enable related features.

This limitation is also common across other brands.

If you want to enable QoS in your network, you can create related rules on the main router.
