Canali Wi-Fi e frequenze cambiano automaticamente Wi-Fichannels and frequencies change automatically
Grazie
Hello, for several weeks I have been having problems with my TP-LINK XX800v AX6000 Wi-Fi 6 GPON router.
The router is set up like this:
2.4 Ghz network
Channel 11
Frequency 20Mhz
5Ghz network
Channel 36
Frequency 80Mhz
After a few days, however, the channels and frequencies are changed automatically.
I split the two networks but nothing changes.
Both networks have OFDMA and BSS COLOR active.
Automatic restart is disabled.
Please help me.
Thanks

Hi, 👋
In your wireless settings is there auto option for your wifi channel?
I beleive you can set it to auto or set a channel yourself,
If it's set to auto it will automatically change channel to what it thinks is best for you on 2.4/5ghz.
If your in a built up area and there's alot of other wifi channels about that are using those same channels your router is possibly jumping the channels to find a best channel in those frequencies for you but if they are all heavily congested it'll keep jumping through them.
I would screen shot my settings in tether app but In that part of the app it comes up
This app doesn't allow screen shots
However if I log in to my Web GUI i can show you
If you click where it says auto on the 2.4ghz settings mine gives me these channels I can manually pick
This is the same but for 5ghz,
Your settings may be different for you router.
You can always download apps via app store (Google play/apples app store ) usually for free and they can help you see how many other routers are around you transmitting on what channels and show best scores for each frequencies
This is one of the many apps I have for helping me, in this window it shows Me signal strength, what channels other routers are on.
This is for the 5ghz
This one is for the 2.4ghz
These show what the app reccomends for better channels to pick per 2.4/5ghz frequency to give you the best signal quality
I'm pretty sure this one was free.
Hope any of this helps

@Basboi85 I did as you said, I set channel 4 to 20mhz and channel 36 to 80mhz. However this morning I find channel 6 with frequency in Auto and channel 52 (DFS) always in 80mhz.
