Archer D7 to full fibre 100
Hi, I have tried to connect my Archer AC-1750 D7 to my BT broadband (full fibre 100) but while I can see internet signal it won't connect fully. I need jt more for a guest network for a room that is rented. As it is older modem the instructions do not tell me how to connect. I have changed the PPPOA to PPPOE but assume need to change some other setting. I have not really had to do this before so any help much appreciated, thanks

If you want to use your old Archer D7 as an access point, connected to your BT router use this guide.
If you want to use Archer D7 as a main router, set its operation mode to wireless router and use its LAN4/WAN port.

Hi just looking on the to link website it does show that there is a WAN/LAN port on the back.
On the assumption you've moved over to bt fftp they would have installed a ONT ( new Internet connector) amd your old phone line has been disconnected.
How I setup my AX72 was
Cat6 from ONT to the WAN port of my router
(Yours should be the lan/wan port not the Asdl port) then I'm guessing you should be able to go through the settings, when you get to the ppoe settings it should ask for log in details
Once you've entered these details you should be able to access the Internet when you've finished settting it up,
It says on tp link website your router supports it so in that case you go in the settings you should have a tab/option to turn guest wifi on,
From there you can then turn on the 2.4/5ghz guest wifi network and I'm taking a guess you can change the name the password and maybe some other settings as from what I've seen not all tp link routers have the same settings as each other and once you've changed the settings you've made you should be able to save then all done 👍🏻
