Model: Deco BE65
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: latest

I had a deco mesh with 3 deco m5 units but was having trouble with network instability i thing cos there was getting to much devices on the telenet router .

I decided to upgrade my mesh with a be65 and set is as main deco in router mode .

Everything worked and all devices connected to it after i changed te ip rage of both of them but i cannot get the casting function to work out of my homeassistant .

It used te work for the doorbell sound but now is the radio is playing on my sonos speakers the radio mutes but the doorbell sound doesnt come out . Its like it plays an empty stream .

I tried casting to other devices same issue , i tried tts same issue . When i play the sound say on my computer it works if i play the media on the tablet it also works ( if i try to play it from my pc on the tablet no sound .
So i think the deco router is blocking something .

I read i needed to activate multi cast but i havent found that on the deco app . Its very limited settingswise i think .
Anyone here that can help or solved similar issues ?

Hope someone on here has some solution exept revirting back to using the telenet router .

  @Mattivdp

Hi,

May I know the network topology? Did you connect them as below:

Telenet router(router mode)--Deco BE65(main Deco, router mode)--<wired or wireless>--Deco M5

Are all devices like your doorbell, TV and so on connect to Deco WIFI? Did you change other settings except adding BE65 unit?

You can change Deco to AP mode and see if it works.
