Administrator password special characters allowed
I changed the administrator password of my router, and when I tried to log in it says invalid password. The new password is similar to this:
m;#k7'$ff2E6:Xezq3(f3#X`a>R
With 28 characters. I don't want to reset the router because it has some pre configured settings without backup. The interface should have warned which characters are allowed, this could be a feature.
Given the password as example, what combinations should I try?

Thanks for posting question here.
May I confirm your model is EC220-G5? As it is customized model for some ISPs only, we can know much less than common wireless routers.
If you can change into the new password and save it, it should be ok to use. So it is suggested to contact your ISP or local support to confirm whether there is any possible restrictions.

Hi, sorry, what we can check is that it shows "Service Provider > WiFi Routers" on our global website.
So it is sincerely suggested to contact local technical support for direct help.

You may have too many digits in the password, try logging in using the first 15 or 16 digits as the older models which this might be one of only take a short pw even though they accept a longer one when changing it.
The other thing is if you are copy and pasting it rather than typing it you can add additional blank spaces without realising it and this again stops you logging in.

@Bogle I tried removing character by character from the end of the password through the first letter and I could not successfuly log in. Tried removing the special characters too, without success. It's a 24 characters password with the special caracters @ # %, I can't see why it doesn't work.
