using the deco app causing deco to disconnect and restart

As per the subject, when using the deco, my unit disconnects then restarts. This can be caused by refreshing the deco list panel, viewing, or editing the deco's connection preference on the app

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
The reboot would clear the previous logs. Would there be any chance that you could send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com so that the senior engineer could help us run further assistance?
Meanwhile, as there are 40 smart devices, there is also a beta firmware that allows each Deco to use different 2.4GHz channels for mobile devices. This feature helps prevent the potential for system crashes caused by overloading a single band.
It is based on the current official 1.6.1. You can find it in the private message if you want to test this version.
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi, as the official 1.6.4 might still need a while, I would suggest updating to 1.6.4 beta to test first.
But if you would like to spend a little more time, I'd like to escalate your case to the senior engineers to see whether they have any other suggestions.
Thank you very much and best regards.

@JurgenM are the clients on 1.6.4 that has the mixup in client devices IP / reservation and sometimes double reservations : does this concern devices with private network adresses, like iPhones? Or does this also concern devices with non-hidden (mostly non-Apple) devices like IoT devices or NAS?
Because if 1.6.4 does not solve the client mixup and wrong on-offline status issues that deco is suffering from for a long time, I quit Deco and TP-Link and move on to ASUS.

i will try to do some further tests related to this. Why i noticed this shortly after the update, so can be that there where already wrong assignments done on the old firmware.
Will play a bit with it the upcoming days and let you know.
