Modifications and Improvement
Note: Some features are not supported in Access Point mode.
1. Support Internet Backup via Hotspot Backup and Hybrid-Mesh Backup Mode.
2. Added DoH/DoT under Deco APP>More>Advanced.
3. Support 20MHz/40MHz automatic bandwidth selection to enhanced 2.4GHz WiFi performance.

Update Advice:
1. Please make sure the Deco APP is up-to-date.
2. How to manually update the firmware via web UI- How to Update the Firmware of Deco.
3. The firmware downgrade needs to be through Firmware Recovery-How to Downgrade Deco.

The new features are planned to be added to Deco X55_V1.20/1.26 as well.
The latest official firmware for Deco X55_V1.26 is 1.2.0. I think you could consider using Deco X55_V1.6 as the main Deco.

Do you know when the feature will be available?
I just purchased an X55 that is a 1.26 and will return it if there is no timeline.

I still have not updated my x55 to firmware 1.6.1 for fear of encountering issues.
For anyone that has updated, have you run into problems with X55?

@Wi-Fi-25 same here. Still on 1.5.5 for fearing the issues with 1.6.1 not be able to chose signal channel anymore. 1.6.3 was removed from TP-Link website a while ago, 1.6.1 is still available. Apparantly issues with 1.6.1 are not important enough for TP-Link or 1.6.4 is fixing all issues.
