Deco X5700 US-version in Europe
I just got a set of Deco X5700 and they seem to be the US-version. I couldn't find the X5700 as the model so I chose Deco X90 which have similiar specs.
From the spec page they have the following wifi transmission power:
FCC:
<30 dBm (2.4 GHz)
<30 dBm (5 GHz)
I'm in Europe and were wondering if they automatically will adapt to the CE wifi transmission powers when setting them up or if they are hard coded to the FCC-approved wifi power?

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.
May I know where you purchased this Deco X5700?
The region code(EU/US, or others) is hard-coded into the hardware. I don't think they could automatically adjust based on the location.
Best regards.

@David-TP They came from Amazon, I could get a set of two refurbished ones for right over 100$ plus shipping which was way cheaper than buying an equivalent set in my home country which would cost at least 300$+ for similar specs. I didn't think about them being different for the wireless bands even though I knew they would be the american version.
I'll set them up this weekend, as far as I can tell the FCC-version has higher wifi transmit power but the channels should work in Europe with our mix of Apple products and some laptops.
