Deco M4 v2 not broadcasting 5ghz signal
Hi,
My Deco M4 sudently not broadcasting the 5ghz wifi, its only work with the 2,4ghz. I all ready turn on both band signal in the deco apps 2.4 an 5ghz but it only broadcasting the 2.4ghz. If I use the 5ghz only there is no wifi signal at all if i check from my phone, laptop, or computer. And if i turn on the 2.4ghz only mode, it works just fine...I think the 5ghz band is broken. I try to reset it a view times but the result still the same...Please see the photo...if all deco work as mesh, only the broken M4 thats not using 5ghz band as a backhaul....only 2.4ghz...
How/Where can i fix this?

May I know how long you have had the Deco M4?
I think it is very likely the Wi-Fi module of this satellite Deco is broken and you might need to contact the local support to ask for warranty service.

Hi David thanks for the quick reply, I bought this M4 from online shopping and its second hand, Ive been using it for quite a month now....at first the 5ghz is working well but recently its not....
about warranty service i think i cant do that cause im not buying from tplink so if you said, that wifi module of this deco module is broken...how can i fix it? Its ok if i have to pay for the repair btw...

I don't think the local warranty service provides repair service but you could make a call for comfirmation.
You could try to refer to this link to run a firmware recovery and reflash the current 1.6.2 version to see whether it made any difference:
