Hey all
A while back I ordered a TP-Link TL-PA717 KIT 1-Port Gigabit Powerline Starter Kit and its great both me and my girfriend have  desktop PCs upstairs the router in our house can only be situated downstairs so it was a great solution for me, currently though my girlfriend is playing more network intensive games and wifi from downstairs is no loger cutting it  so I wondered if more than one tP link upstairs could be paird with the one TP link downstairs as we only have 2 sockets us otherwise I'll need to get some crazy long ethernet cable and bluch another TP link in downstairs to pair with the tP link I get for my GF upstairs.

Or am I over  thinking I know it can support 16 nodes but does that  mean it has to be 2 upstais 2 downstairs or 2 upstairs one downstairs ?

Hi,

It would be two upstairs one downstairs.

Below is the section from the user manual that deals with this topic.
