RE200 V5 with Archer VX1800v OneMesh? EasyMesh?
So my problem starts with web page.
https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/range-extender/re200/v5/#specifications
This link clearly shows my just-bought RE200 V5 supports EasyMesh which is compatible with my VX1800v device.
However I just found out that the device is not compatible with EasyMesh, it is for OneMesh. Now I am getting an error that I cannot use two devices together as a mesh system.
Any possible solution? Any firmware update planned to any device? Any work around?
Thanks.

Please use the RE200's internal web management interface to setup the EasyMesh connection. The Tether app may not have been updated yet to reflect the features of firmware 1.0.23.
There are different ways to get into the web interface via a web browser.
You can try if http://tplinkrepeater.net/ works for you. If it doesn't, then you need to access it via its current IP address, like http://192.168.x.x, but you have to replace the x with the correct numbers.

Hi,
According to the firmware update notes EasyMesh was added to the RE200 V5 in firmware version 1.0.23.

Can you please post a screenshot that shows the error you are getting?

Extender Model
Main Router settings screen
Error says main router does not support OneMesh.
The thing is extender should support the EasyMesh but it is not visible on the settings screen.

So as you mentioned I have successfully enabled easymesh on both devices. Now I have a network topology like shown above.
