  @Sedik

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

Currently, The BedTime has the highest priority under Parental Control. I'm afraid it is an expected behavior that "Always allows APPs" would still be blocked under the BedTime.

Best regards.

Is there another mode where always allowed app would work?

  @Sedik Has there ever been a resolution?

I have the exact same issue, so allowing use of the Spotify app means dismantling the entire bedtime setup.

Also, what is the difference between bedtime and offtime exactly, and would the always allowed app setting work if I set offtime to the sames times I now use in bedtime, and switch off bedtime?

@David-TP Since there has not been a response to the last query in a considerable time, would you be able to tell me what the difference is between bedtime and Offtime is when it comes to "Always Allowed Apps"? If these always prevail, the the "Always Allowed Apps" is not useful functionality, as they are never "always allowed" if bedtime or offtime are involved. Which sort of defeats the entire purpose, as providing access (like in the example Spotify) means opening up everything. Just had this today when extending time was the only way for my son to be allowed to use Spotify, which he naturally misused as soon as I turned my back to play games.

Hi, welcome to the community.

I'm afraid "Always Allowed APPs" is behind both "Bed Time" and "Offtime" as well as "Time Limits".

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @David-TP thanks for your response. In that case, I do not understand why you would have the "always allowed app". By definition, it should override all limiting settings (as in: "always"?).

My only option then, to be able to use this at all, is to not use "always available app". Sorry my boy, nomore music it is...
