Yep.  And stealing MingFoo words (and para-phrasing from others with the same issue). I'm in exactly the same position too!

I bought the PGW2440 kit assuming that I'd be able to buy more extenders.  Assumption being the key!

For sure, I should have checked but as it's a clearly identifiable separately manufactured product so I just couldn't imagine they'd only be made for slipping into a kit pack!  

Worse, the TP Link websites and naming conventions are utterly confusing so a reasonable consumer assumption when 'on the go'.  My very reasonable assumption and one that others seem to have made (or been mugged off!) i.e. you make them for kits so assume they can be purchased individually!

I also wanted to see the impact of the kit with the extender (works great BTW) and then hopefully purchase additional extenders for what was needed as I found other dead spots!

Repeat, the kit works great yet the only way to purchase another extender is via the kit!!  What????  

ex MingFoo - TP Link you need to reconsider thi sales model etc.

BTW...a class response from the TP Link sales support line to 'where can I get more GPW2440's?'

We are sorry that we do not currently offer the Extender PGW2440 separately.  If you really only want the PGW2440, you can check the retailer in the link below to see if they sell it seperately.

So frustrating.  

How about

'they aren't manufactured to sell separately and are only for the kits; so if you need another identical extender I'm sorry but you'll need to buy another kit or our [confusing naming modelXYZ 123] will suit just fine!'

But worse!!  TP Link  - you say you do not offer the extender separately and want me to check retailers.  What? (again)

If anyone has any connection via this community forum to the UK TP Link Sales Director (or if indeed anyone in UK sales casually reads this stuff to see what's really happening) then any chance of a response?

Finally, if no success, I'll use my 30 days Amazon return and bounce the lot back to them with a poor review and go to another supplier.

So frustrating!  And the web site...so frustrating!  Technically...the kit is great!
