Hi, thanks for posting question on our community.
VX231 is also a customized model for some ISPs only, sorry that we know much less about it than common DSL modem routers.
But it does not matter, even it is a common DSL modem router which supports Easymesh, it is not suggested to work work with Deco units, if you want them to set up a mesh network.
Easymesh and Deco mesh are different things, you may refer to this guide to know more. Only Deco products can set up Deco mesh network with each other.
So you may consult local support whether there is a Deco-DSL model in your region.

@GMCentral I have a VX231v router (Deutsche Giganetz) and two X50 WiFi Mesh access points.
They work together, but they are separate ecosystems -- as far as I can tell, EasyMesh and Deco Mesh are different standards.
So you need to run both the Aginet app and the Deco app on your phone, the Deco Mesh plugs into your router and you need to run it in Access Point mode.
If you _don't_ use the WiFi on the router, then you can manage all the wired clients on the router and all the wireless clients on the Deco APs.
You can also just plug the Deco APs into the Telekom router :)
