Wifi 6 on Deco X50 as satellite of Deco M5
Hello,
I have both Deco M5 (wifi 5) and Deco X50 (wifi 6). I realize that M5 is more reliable as main box than X50. Thus, I plan to use M5 as main box. My question is:
- If I use M5 as main box, and X50 as satellite boxes, can "wifi 6 ready" devices like iphone, macbook pro... can use wifi 6 connectivity provided by X50 boxes, or whole wifi network will be wifi 5 because of M5?
Thanks, Bang

The WiFi signal broadcasted by Deco X50 will be WiFi 6 and your signal broadcast by Deco M5 will be Wifi5. I use a mixture of M9 Plus and X60 and it works great

thanks for your help
which box are you using as main box? any advanced features on X60 over M9, especially for reliability?
I myself see M5 is more stable than X50. I needed to restart my X50 quite often (even I set schedule for every 3 days)

I use the M9 plus as my main router purely because I prefer the Homecare on M9 plus to Homeshield on X60.
However the X60 is more central in my house and takes most of the wi fi traffic. X60 is very stable and I have no problems at all.
cheers
