Hi, the WiFi router is not the only factor that can impact internet download speeds. The wireless capabilities of mobile devices, distance from the router, and wireless interference are also factors that can affect speed. In the Mesh system, the speed from the main Deco also differs from that of the satellite Deco especially when the satellite Deco X55 is connected via Wi-Fi Backhaul.
For Deco X55, its maximum link speed over 5 GHz is 2402 Mbps. If the mobile device doesn't support WiFi 6 and 160Mhz, its maximum wireless link speed would be only 867m/s.
The speed at different times mainly depends on the network activities and nearby interference. When one device is playing games, it might limit the bandwidth traffic or other network activities, like video streaming. During the nighttime, when everyone returns home, it is also the peak time of internet usage.
Thank you very much and best regards.
