@David-TP specs are nice however will it provide a high speed link to my ps5.
As mentioned in another thread I have triband older version of this and it absolutely refuses to do better than 10mbs download on the ps5 but will do 85% of the speed on other devices. I would like some statement on interoperability with ps5 before I plunk down 200 bucks and wind up in the same situation....

Looks like it does based on this firmware update? You'd never know it from any actual information on the TP-Link product pages or forum info pages. Literally just found this by accident as there's no other way to get a straight answer out of this company.

You can search for the model in local online retailers, such as Amazon.
The MLO of RE655BE supports 2.4G+5G, 2.4G+6G, 5G+6G, and 2.4G+5G+6G.
Best regards.

@David-TP the version that was just recently added to Amazon in the US has a different model name, "RE653BE": https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DXTMXKBL/
I assume this is otherwise identical to the RE655BE?
And while I have your attention, can you confirm this model supports ethernet backhaul for EasyMesh?? The only thing I've seen on this is a firmware update note that mentions ethernet backhaul.

Hi, RE653BE is very similar to RE655BE in software features and network performance. Its hardware design has a light difference and is sold in different distribution channels.
RE653BE also supports EasyMesh over Ethernet Backhaul.
Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP Thanks, I appreciate the response! I bought an RE715X to extend my BE550 originally and found it didn't work via ethernet after running cable to the other side of the house, so looking to replace it eventually with something that will. Do you know offhand if the RE715X will be getting ethernet backhaul anytime soon in a firmware update? Much appreciated! It's been difficult to find info on these to say the least.
Maybe I should've just snagged the RE655BE when it was on sale for $200 at Best Buy a couple weeks ago...
