Hello all

 

I've recently added a X50- PoE to my network (already using 2 X50).

I added the X50 - PoE with the network cable in the gigabit port to my PoE switch (TL-SG108PE).

The X50 PoE added just fine in the network but i see that he connects to the network bye connecting to the head X50 wireless and not using the network cable.

I can't find any setting where i can change this.

 

Why does the X50-Poe connects to my network wirelessly if it is connected with a network cable, cable is far more stable?

There is no configuration setting: Deco will always use Ethernet link if it can. Which means, your X50-Poe can't. That usually comes to Ethernet cable issues or something with the switch, or the way everything is wired together. 

 

Try this: take X50-Poe with that same Ethernet cable it connects to switch, bring it to Main Deco and connect to Main Deco available Ethernet port. If X50-Poe will establish Ethernet link, cable is not a problem.
