Hello there!

Today I have the following connection:

Fiber -> Bell GigaHUB -10GE->XE75 Pro -> Sattelie 1/2 via WiFi.

As such the IP address of the "Main" XE75 Pro has a private address (192.168.1.123).

There is no explicit "bridge mode" on the modem hoever there is what they call an "Advanced DMZ" mode where you can pass the public IP address of the modem to a device within the Modems connection.

Once this is enabled, I go and check that the IP address indeed has changed to a public one.

However the node LED goes RED and do not have any internet. What am I doing wrong??

  @Jonas-Homekit

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

I saw a similar case mentioned here:

https://forum.bell.ca/t5/Internet/Advanced-DMZ-issue-of-Giga-Hub-HH4000/td-p/13364

Did you also receive a similar subnet mark, like 128.0.0.0 under IPV4 of Deco XE75 PRO?

If we temporarily change the "internet connection type to "Static IP" and keep the IPv4 address and DNS servers, manually change the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0, will Deco XE75 pro turn green and connect to the internet?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP

Thanks for the tip - I will try this when time permits.
It disrupts the entire network so I need to prepare the family for this ;)..

Going back and forth between the DMZ mode etc, forces me to connect a hard wire to the modem so that I can still access the UI in order to swap back
