I just bougt an Deco X50 Outdoor as a replacement of my main M9 Plus. I choose the Outdoor because of its mounting abilities. Now I found out that the firmware is still on v1_1.2.4 Build 20230922 (2023-10-25) but when I check the firmware of the X50 it is on V3_1.3.1 Build 20240423 (2024-06-19). Now I feel I have made the wrong choice as it is allready not suported as much as the normal X50. Can someone explain why there is so much difference between those models? Why is there not a common firmware accross the X50 productline? What is the policy of TP-Link on this? Can you please state something on the box or on the website like "no regular firmware updates for this model".
