Some questions about the Archer AX55 Router
I had some questions reguarding the Archer AX55 Wifi Router, As Im looking for a Wifi 6 Router to use as an Access Point for my Meta Quest 2 (And eventually Meta quest 3) for PCVR Airplay ONLY. The sole purpose of this router is for my VR stuff.
When I set up the router in AP Mode:
1. Can I plug my PC into one of the Lan Ports and still be usable?
2. Can I seperate the 2.4Ghz and 5GHz Networks?
3. Can I hide the 2.4GHz SSID so only the 5GHz Network is visible?
4. Can I set the 5GHz Channel Bandwidth to only be 80 Hz?

4.Yes, you can even set 160 MHz channel width
Note: The be able to accomplish 3. and 4. you have to disable Smart Connect featre.

it seems I dont have the option to set the Channel Width to just 80 or 160 Mhz only. Is there a way to change this properly?

They must have modified these settings in different HW/FW releases.
What's your AX55 hardwaare version - this should printed on its bottom sticker.
Also check which is the FW version that is on the router at the moment.

Firmware Version - 1.3.2 Build 20240325 rel.56896(4341)
Hardware Version - Archer AX55 v1.0
It is 1.0
I saw the option to limit what channel bandwith the 5ghz would use on initial setup, then I updated the firmware, and everything was changed, and the option was gone. So they must of done away with it with the update.
I tested on my Meta Quest 2, and it seemingly automatically using 160 MHz all on its own.

Most probably you were with FW v1.2.6 before the cloud update.
Don't worry about that - they probably changed that in the new v1.3.2 and it works like an "Auto" option.
Since you're connected at 160 Mhz then everything's fine.
