  @Marcintosh

David,

You're the only manufacturer I know that gives less features when upgrading the firmware, or the model !!!!

This is so stupid !!!!!!

I know I'm not the only one in that case (I red a lot of complains !!)

And your reason (not enough precise...) is also so stupid !!

We don't care about accuracy !

What we need is to know is  if our customers can work with a sufficient bandwidth, and no need to go there to check !

I bough a lot of X60 and I have to return theme now.

Please advise me of what model can I buy who is supporting speed test and Wifi 6

Thx

Hi, Thanks for the reply.

I'm sure that is what we want. But if our products are unable to meet your needs, I'm afraid there is no better choice for now.

(Please try to make sure you have @me next time otherwise I might not receive your reply in time. Thank you in advance.)

The models that support "Test Internet Speed" are:

Wi-Fi 5 Deco M5/Deco M9 Plus
Wi-Fi 6

Deco X20/X25_V1/V1.2, Deco X60 V1/V2

Wi-Fi 6E/7 Deco XE200; Deco BE65/85/95

Thank you very much and best regards.

Thx for your reply, David.

One (last) question :

Let's say I set up the following configuration :

Main Device : Deco M5

Other devices : Deco X75

will I take advantage of the 6E speed ? Or all my network will be at the speed limit of the M5 ?

Best regards,

Marc

  @Marcintosh

Hi, I think you might refer to Deco XE75 since Deco X75 is still Wi-Fi 6.

When Deco XE75 works as the satellite unit, you will still have a 6GHz WiFi band.

As for the speed, it depends.

Both M5 and Deco XE75 are gigabit models, so the maximum Ethernet speed is still up to 1Gbps.

So if Deco XE75 is wired to the main Deco, M5 will not limit its speed.

But if Deco XE75 is on wireless backhaul, its Mesh Backhaul speed will be limited by M5.

Thank you very much and best regards.
