1. Please make sure the Deco APP is up-to-date.
2. How to manually update the firmware via web UI- How to Update the Firmware of Deco.

Hi, The 1.5.5 is officially released. Instead of reverting to 1.4.1, I do hope you could try to manually update the satellite Deco X50 with 1.5.1 to 1.5.5 first, then switch the 1.5.5 Deco as the main Deco to see whether 1.5.5 could work well in your network situation, like whether the new device connection alerts work well. if yes, later we could update all units to 1.5.5.
Reverting from 1.5.1/1.5.5 to 1.4.1 is kind of complicated:
1. You might need to run a firmware recovery to revert to 1.2.1 first since the maximum file size of the HTTP uboot upgrade tool is 32MB.
2. then upgrade from 1.2.1 to 1.4.1 again.

i will try to follow your advice.
but before i do that, do you know if by chance someone who has already installed 1.5.5 can receive notifications of new device connections? because yesterday i set a deco 1.4.1 as primary and the notifications started working again. i dont want them to stop working again

Hi, Thanks for the update.
I have not received additional feedback regarding "Connection Alerts" on version 1.5.5 I might take it as "working well as expected". Compared with 1.5.1, 1.5.5 hasn't introduced many new features. You could also wait some time to see whether there might be other potential feedback.

@David-TP Hi David. QOS/Scene QOS not working. Why when XBOX is limited it still loads at high speed. My laptop with HI PRIORITY on option lags when streaming games. CPU usage is over 99%

@David-TP after installing 1.5.5 for a week, I have the following conclusions:
- Network is stable all over;
- in my clientlist I have still some weird ID's. Mostly they appear to be phones. They are shadow-ID's of iPhones it seems.
- when I start the Deco app, it takes al long time and Some restarts of the app to display the client list correctly.
- beacause of the restarts, the network goes down for a couple of minutes aswell : all cliënts lose internet Connection.
- network restores itself.
- I have not seen the red signs anymore that a certain Deco is offline. That seems to be fixed.

@David-TP my apologies for not being clear.
My issue is with the "Speed Limit" functionality at the client level.
I had set it to "on" for a client and set to 10Mbps download and 2Mbps upload then saved the configuration.
the configuration saved but the download speed was not limited at all.
