Model: Deco X50-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.5

Hi TPLink,

I run a network of Deco X50s (v1 & V1.2 Hardware) around my place. I have just recently graded the Deco network with a Deco X50-Outdoor (V1 Hardware, FW 1.2.5). Unfortunately I found this broke ECO-Mode Feature for all of may Decos. I was using Eco-Mode to switch off WiFi around my place for a few hours at night to spare some kWh over the year as well as some radiation.

I thought Deco X50-outdoor (V1) HW should be the same as the normal x50s except the IP66 housing. Does not seem to be so?
Current work around found by @__Fabio__ is to switch off x50-outdoor and than set ECO-Mode for the "normal" x50s. Not quite so satisfactory.
Are there any plans to support ECO-Mode for x50-Outdoor in near future?

Thanks & kind regards

  @MyDecoAtHome

Hi, nice to see you again.

It is planned to add ECO mode on other models however there hasn't been a clear ETA for a specific model yet.

You could take this link as a reference: Understand the Differences Among Deco Firmware Platforms

Deco X50_V1 hadn't added ECO mode until 1.4.1 version and Deco X50-outdoor is very likely to be the same.

Thank you very much and best regards.
