If only band 4 is allowed in Pakistan, the locally sold products would prefer band 4 as well.

However, for the Deco W3600, designed primarily for US Walmart, the 5GHz Wi-Fi would prioritize band 1 first, as it is one of the most commonly used 5GHz channels in the US.

There hasn't been a beta firmware for Deco W3600 which allows to re-selecting the default 5GHz band since the Band selection automatically follows up with the region code embedded into the hardware. In this way, I'm afraid you might need to purchase a new Deco unit directly from the local market.

Hi, Did you purchase the Deco X20_V2.6 in Pakistan?

I often heard that the 5GHz band only uses band 4 in Bangladesh so the Deco products, sold in Bangladesh are all customized. But I didn't recall engineers mentioned the same in Pakistan. I didn't find any information online that mentioned that only band 4 is allowed in Pakistan either.

Do you have any online links or documents about the local wireless regulation?

I'm not sure whether"instead of region locking a Deco gives us region or country selection option during setup process of Deco" complies with import and export regulations or not, but I will record it as a feature request.
