Hi

I need some help with my Powerline Adapters.

I have a deco Mesh network consisting of 8 Access Points.

I have a WPA7517 Kit which provides wifi to a 6mtr container.

The TL-PA7017 part of the kit is connected to the Garage access point as my DB Board is in my garage and it has a plug right next to it.

If I plug the TL-PA7017 in my study it will not connect to the unit in the container.

I purchased a TL-PA7017 Kit and thought that I would add a Powerline adapter in my study. I paired it to my existing network but when I plug it in the TP Link PLC app no longer picks up any network.

Any idea as to what could be causing the Powerline network to go down and how to fix it?

I would also like to know if the Deco PX50 Powerline is compatible with the PLC system?

Thanks

JohnB

Hi

It is recommended to connect Powerline adapters on the same electric circuit or within the same ring main.

Are the study and container in the same electric circuit? If the study and the container are not in the same electric circuit, the TL-PA7017 in the study may not successfully join the powerline network.

By the way, Is the powerline light (like a house icon) on the new TL-PA7017 solid on?
