Missing DNS configuration option
Hello,
I just configured Pi-Hole and wanted to set my custom DNS on the Deco X20 App, but can't find the option to do so...
I'm using the Deco X20 in AP mode... is it because of this that I cannot change it?
The idea is to have the pi-hole as my primary DNS server and google (8.8.8.8) for secondary option.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!

With Deco mesh running in AP mode you will have to set custom DNS on router to which Main Deco is connected.

If you currently have Deco mesh running in AP mode without issues, do not make changes on ISP router! Just configure Deco mesh to run in Router mode and see that it works. It should.

Thanks for the feedback, but my router does not allow me to change my DNS server. It's blocked.
Is there other way I can do this on the Deco?

Only by switching Deco mesh to its default Router mode.

Thanks for the reply.
I tried this, but the Deco stays with the red light on and without internet, after I enabled router mode (switched on the app from AP mode to Router).
Do I need to reset the Deco's and enable Router mode?
Also enabled bridge mode on my ISP Router and connected the Deco to the correct lan port, when in bridge mode.

How about the internet connection on the Deco when it is in wireless router mode?
May I know the model number of your ISP-provided router?
Usually there are two possibilities:
Internet terminal---ISP router(also in router mode)---main Deco X20(router mode+Dynamic IP)
or
Internet terminal---ISP router(set to bridge mode)---main Deco X20(router mode)
The most common internet connection type is still Dynamic IP but it is also possible the ISP might use PPPOE.
And you don't need to reset Deco to switch the operation mode from router to AP, or AP to router, you could connect back to the Deco Wi-Fi and re-open the Deco APP to modify the operation mode even when Deco is red and offline.
Thank you very much and best regards.

Hello,
There is not internet connection in router wireless mode.
The model is a FiberGateway GR241AG.
The option that I configured is to have the ISP router in bridge mode, and then connect the main Deco to port number 4 (since this is the port that works in this mode).
