Hello,

I would appreciate it if someone could provide antenna radiation patterns for the Archer T2U Plus and Archer T3U Plus.

I am particularly interested in the characteristics of the Archer T3U Plus, as it is described on its website as having two antennas.

Thanks

Hi,

I noticed you haven't got any replies yet.

Unfortunately, I don't own a T3U Plus myself and therefore can't check the type of antenna inside, but given the shape of the antenna cover my guess is that they might have stacked two sleeve-type dipole antennas on top of each other, similar to how I laid them out in the photo below.

Since 2.4 GHz is very roughly twice the wavelength of 5.x GHz these dipole antennas work for both frequency bands.

The radiation pattern of this type of dipole antenna supposedly looks like a big donut around the long axis of the antenna.
