Firmware Version: 1.2.6 Build 20231130 rel.36135(4555)

I have Archer AX55(EU) ver:1.0 and I need "EasyMesh Network via Ethernet Backhaul". I can see from tp-link support page that US version have firmaware udpate with ethernet backhaul (Archer AX55(US)_V1_1.3.2 Build 20240325), but is there hardware difference between my AX55(EU) ver:1.0 and AX55(US) ver:1.0?

Main router I have Archer AX53(EU) ver:2.0 and this AX55(EU) ver:1.0 I am using as satellite device but my house have one stonger wall between main and satellite mesh routers so wifi connection is not enough strong. I already have new ethernet cable between routers, ready to connect, but first I need to know can get my satellite router AX55(EU) ver:1.0 mesh ethernet backhaul get workin or do I need update my router to new one?

Yes, you can do that and you should if you want to use an ethernet backhaul between the two routers.

Here's the public beta v1.2.6 that you can use as well. Keep in mind that if you update to v1.3.2 you won't be able to downgrade to v1.2.6.

Here's a list of routers that support ethernet backhaul.

For me updating my Archer AX55 v1.0 EU from 1.2.6 to 1.3.2 doesn't seem to work.

It is showing that it's updating IFWI and reboots but still it shows firmware 1.2.6

Can it be because I'm connecting my router through wireguard (router is located in Poland and I'm connecting it from Germany)?

You need to download the file from the U.S. site to your PC and upgrade your router locally.

@jra11500 Thanks it worked, actually I thought that there will be some other way to do it through wireguard :)
