Seems an unfortunate miss to me to omit this. I know a couple of people who use their Deco systems as mesh and with the main node as a router. None of them can check the internet speed at the router. Like me all in yhe UK
 

Maybe  it's a wish list item for future updates as there is no dought it would be useful. Unlikely to me but unless it's a technical reason for it not to be included it's something that would benefit many
