I have 4 Deco units. 3 X20 (basement, ground floor and 1st floor) and one on the balcony (X50 outdoor).

The house has thick concrete walls causing weak signals. Max speed is 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload (remote area with old ADSL connection).

Would it make sense to replace the main (X20) my another deco unit to increase signal strength and coverage?

Hi, welcome to the community.

I think replacing advanced models would help a little bit and not too much. Deco X20 is already good enough for the current DSL service- 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

Are you able to run Ethernet cables through the house?

Or Have you ever used any powerline adapters before? If the whole house is under the same electric service meter, Powerline Deco Mesh, such as Deco PX50 seems a good option.
