Can you please run the command ping [my NO-IP DDNS address] and then report back the two leftmost numbers of the IP address reported by the ping command? (for example 125.34.x.x)

Your Internet provider give you a public IP? or just private?

The IP address range 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 are private IP addresses.

So, if your DDNS hostname resolves to the IP address of 10.209.x.x, then you will not be able to reach that IP address (i.e. your router) via the Internet.

  @woozle I just noticed that... I am pretty sure it was because i turned on WAN IP binding. I turned that option off and checked NO-IP. It shows my public IP (49.xxx.xx.xxx). 

However after that, I can't access the DDNS from within or outside the network. I am not even able to ping it. I can access the individual devices with their private ip (192.xxx) though. Very strange behaviour

If "WAN IP binding = ON" results in the DDNS IP address being 10.209.xxx.xxx, then it means the WAN IP address of your Archer C6 router is 10.209.xxx.xxx.

As long as the WAN IP address of your Archer C6 is 10.209.xxx.xxx you will not be able to directly connect to that Archer C6 via the Internet.

There could be two reasons why that WAN IP address is 10.209.xxx.xxx.

1) Your ISP did something wrong when they created your account on their servers and they are assigning a private IP address to your broadband connection instead of a public one, like they told you.

2) There is another NAT router at your home that is connected between the incoming broadband line and your Archer C6 and it is turning the 49.xxx.xx.xxx IP address into the 10.209.xxx.xxx IP address.
