I have noise on the fixed voice line when I connect the switch to the router.

Hi, welcome to the community.
Since TL-SG105 is an unmanaged switch, it is not supposed to cause any issues.
Could you please help me run a simple test:
- Just power on the TL-SG105.
- Do not plug anything into the switch, including the WiFi router.
Then check whether there is still noise on the fixed voice line when the switch is in standalone mode.

@David-TP The noise goes away as soon as I turn off the tp link switch.

Hi, How about we leave the switch powered with no devices attached?
I wonder whether the noise comes from the cooling fan. Sometimes for the Business-grade products, the fan noise is more obvious than the Home products.
If the switch had no such noise before, I think you could try to contact the retailer to see whether it is still under warranty.
