Difference between Archer Ax53 v1 and v2
Hello i am interested about difference between Archer Ax53 v1 and v2 - EUROPE REGION
Right now i own Tp-Link Archer AX53 v1 and this week my friend order the same model but he receive v2.
We notice that his power adapter is the same like Tp-Link AX 55 (12 V ⎓ 1.5A)
But my power adapter is same like TP-Link AX23/C80 (12v ⎓ 1A)
So please let us know why power adapter change is required for v2? Better processor? Improved wifi range?
Right now if i have to choose this model i will be confused what to buy? v1 or v2?

As far as we know, the basic functions and features are the same on both versions, only hardware on power specification is different.

@Marvin_S Please release firmware that support OpenVPN Client for AX53 Ax3000 V1.
this would make TP-Links Routers a much Better service since the popularity of VPN's is increasing Each day and more people want to connect their router's to a VPN cause it's easier and more reliable and secure.
I'm not a Networking Expert so i'm sorry if there's something preventing this to be a option on the router
But if there's a solution please Let me know
And i hope TP-Link would release a New Firmware for VPN support
Please put this at a Top Priority if Possible

@Router_Review Hi, OpenVPN is available, I use NordVPN to watch UK telly and it's all up and running on my AX53 v1

@Entidade hi, i knew that's the beta release/pre release firmware.. and it has been implemented because my request directly to TP-link global support and they approved it last year :)
well we can enjoy now...
but still missing DoH/DoT feature..

For us, there is no such thing as a better hardware version.
There may be a little difference on hardware and firmware between V1 and V2.
You may refer to the local official website to see more.
It is more suggested to contact local technical support to take further confirmation if you are still confused.
