Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.12 Build 230309 Rel.64136n (6985)

Hello,

I am trying to configure the kit but I have detected a problem with it.

My setup has a TL-PA4010 which is connected to the starlink ethernet adapter and 2 TL-WPA4220 which are connected into power outlets on the same electrical circuit.

When the TL-PA4010 is disconnected from the router, it is connected to the 2 TL-WPA4220 and the kit work correctly although it has not internet connection. I am able to modify wifi passwords etc from the extenders UI.

However, when I connect the TL-PA4010 to the starlink ethernet adapter, the 2 TL-WPA4220 keep rebooting forever.

The starlink router is working in normal mode, I have tried the bypass mode and the rebooting problem dissapeared, but the wi-fi speed dropped from 100 mb on the starlink wi-fi to 0,019 mb on the TL-WPA4220 wi-fi.

I would like to work without bypass mode if possible.

Any solution on this?

Thx.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

Usually, the powerline adpater TL-PA4010 needs to be connected to the router via ethernet cable directly. I am not sure about the ethernet adapter you mentioned.

You may connect TL-PA4010 to your one of LAN ports on your router via a direct ethernet cable to check. Also, temparorily put TL-WPA4220 in the same room to check agin.

The ethernet adapter as the name suggest is the direct link between the TL-PA4010 and the starlink router. There you connect the ethernet cable and It is connected to the starlink router.

There is some problem in the TL-PA4010 firmware and the 2 TL-WPA4220 firmware that creates this behavior.

As is important for me to have the internet connection asap, I bought a router Tp link Archer AX53. This solves the previous problem, however when one of the extenders is placed in a room 20 meters far from the router, the connection led turns off and on periodically. If the extenders are placed next to the router, everything worked as expected.

Aren't the extenders suposed to work in a 300 meters range?

Thank you.

Hi, may I confirm which LED turns on and off  periodically? Can you send us the screenshot to show the LED? And can you get stable internet connection from that powerline extender when it is 20 meters far from the main router?
