In my Tether app, the extenders are shown connected to both networks.  The UI of the extenders also shows the connections on both bands and their speed.  In the past, I have seen only one band connected when the 5Ghz signal was weak and relocating the extender in question solved the problem.

@jra11500 are you sure? There's a bit in the UI that shows the bands that extender serves and yes, my extenders serve both bands - but their back haul is only 2.4. What does the bit on my screenshot look like on your end?

thank you!

My screenshots are different from yours.  My iPhone Tether version is 4.5.11(Build 502).

@jra11500 Exact Same as mine (the latest iphone version).

First select your main router. The Archer AX55 in my case. You get this:

Then you click on one of your extenders: I clicked on "RE605x en...". You get this:

And that second line "Connecté à:" shows you what in the mesh it is connecting at, and on what band. In my case, it is connecting to the other RE605x via 2.4GHz.

There's probably a difference in the AX55 FW versions. You're with the latest one - Firmware Version: 1.3.2 Build 20240325 rel.56896(4341) which comes only through a cloud update at the moment.
