I have a Deco X73-DSL which has telephony enabled.  I can see voicemail in the app but each time I try to play when remote I get 'failed to download voicemail'.

 

Is this feature supported when remote?

Hi, I think it did support the remote. I saw there was an option to enable "Remote Access to Voicemail"

  @David-TP Thanks for the reply.  I have tried enabling remote but that's only for being able to dial the number and access it with a PIN.  I'm follow the App Log route as suggested :)

Hi, Thank you very much for the logs.

I consulted your case with the senior engineer and he wondered whether the error message "failed to download voicemail" was from the Deco APP or the mobile phone when calling the home-fixed telephone.

 

I thought it was from the mobile phone earlierblush.

If the error message is actually from the Deco APP, according to the following user manual of the VOIP configuration guide, It seems like hearing Voicemail directly in the Deco APP is only allowed when your mobile phone is connected to the Deco's WiFi.

  @David-TP Thanks, I've seen the document that you've provided the link to and can confirm that remote access works via a handset.  The confusing element is within the application.  When you open the app, you are greeted with any voicemails that have been recorded, these work when on the network, but if remote they fail to download.  This is the area that I'm looking for confirmation as it's not clear whether it should work or not.  If it's a no, then this maybe a feature request as it doesn't feel like a big job.

Yes, I totally agree with you. If I didn't double check the user manual and confirm with the engineer, I thought the voicemail could be played remotely in the Deco APP as well.

This feature request has been forwarded to the engineers and hope it could implemented one day.
