Hi, you may try to upgrade firmware to improve the performance.
To update firmware of the Access point, Kindly note that during upgrading process, do not turn off or reset the Access Point.
Some models support online upgrade now, but we can also manually update the firmware. Please refer to the below guidance:
1. Download the latest firmware from https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/.
2. Connect your computer to the access point's network, and visit http://tplinkap.net/.
3. Go to System/System Tools > Firmware Upgrade > if the model supports Online Upgrade, Click Check for Upgrades > Or Click Browse to upload the firmware file you have unzipped before, and Click on Upgrade.
