ax72 pro loses internet connection every 3/4 days
I have a Zte 5g router in Bridge mode on the roof
with a lan cable in the 2.5gb wan port it is connected to the ax72 pro which is in router mode updated to the latest firmware
every 4/5 days the ax72 loses the network and I'm sure it's the fault of the tplink for until last week instead of the Zte there was a Mikrotik outdoor modem router and the same thing happened.
How do I solve this serious problem?

When the Archer AX72 Pro loses the network, how about the Internet LED on this router? Is it red or orange?
It is suggested follow the troubleshooting steps:
1) Connect a PC directly into your mode/router to verify if the internet from the front-end network device is stable.
2) Make sure the Ethernet cable between your modem/router and the Router is connected properly, replaced old cables with new ones.
3) Change the DNS Server of the Router, login the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Network > Internet > Advanced Settings, change the two DNS Servers into 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8.
4)Please share us the current firmware version of your router.

I have the same settings, ZTE 5G, Archer X72, and same problems
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20240426 rel.40133(4555)
Hardware Version: Archer AX72 Pro v1.0
Every 2-3 days, the Archer loses the Internet connection, even with the ZTE working perfectly.... the only way is to reboot the Archer.... until next time..
The only visible thing, the Internet LED goes OFF on the Archer... but the other devices wired to the ZTE still work flawlessly
I have another wifi access point with a different SSID, for my iot, from Google, also connected to the ZTE, and it always work, no problem...
Totally annoying, and I tried to change the DNS, but the problem stays the same
Nothing obvious in the router logs....

May I confirm some information to understand your situation better?
1. May I confirm the ZTE device you mentioned is a modem router?
2. When Archer AX72 Pro lose connection, if the Internet LED is off, not orange/red or green, I am afraid the physical connection may be the reason.
Did you try to use different LAN port on ZTE and different Ethernet cable to connect the WAN port of Archer AX72 Pro?
3. When did you purchase the router? Does the issue happen since you installed Archer AX72 Pro?
4. When Archer AX72 Pro lose internet, could you unplug the Ethernet cable from its WAN port and re-plug the cable to your another wired device to check the internet access. (Referring to this troubleshooting guide.)

1) Yes, the ZTE device is a 5G modem router
2) The Internet node is off, no other color. I tried the 2.5 and the 1Gbps, with two brand new network cable CAT8, same result... but the ZTE wifi always works.. and I did not try another port on it
3) I bought the Archer the 19th of August on Amazon, and it works flawlessly the first weeks
4) I can try this, no problem... I will let you know
Isn't it possible to have more info from the logs ?? because it is not very clear.. 08:11 is when I rebooted it... before that, the date is April 2024, despite I cleared the logs before...

Hi, I can understand that the wireless connection from your ZTE modem route is always good, but what we need to check the wired connection from it.
If my understanding is correct, your network topology is ZTE modem router(one of LAN ports)----(WAN port) Archer AX72, right?
So, it is suggested to try different LAN ports on your ZTE modem router. And when the issue happens, it is suggested to connect anther wired device to replace AX72 to confirm whether the internet access works from the same LAN port of your ZTE modem router
You may also use ZTE modem router as main router, and set up AX72 as AP mode.
Sorry, log can say little, so we need to confirm the actual problematic phenomena.
