Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.5 Build 20231010 rel.60239(5553)

Hi,

With my router Archer C4000, I normally turn it off at the end of the day and turn it back on in the morning.

Occasionally, I notice that the device seems to undergo a complete factory reset so that when I turn it on, I have to use a network cable to connect to it and re-configure it completely to set admin password, wifi passwords, etc.

It happened again this morning and I saw these unexpected system log entries from yesterday afternoon:

2024-04-19 15:42:24 traffic-stats[7094]: <6> 269004 stats reset

What could be causing these unexpected log entries and are they related to the factory reset observed in the morning? There was no issue with the router throughout yesterday even after the time on these log entries.

The device is already using the latest firmware 1.1.5 Build 20231010 rel.60239(5553)

  @Starion

Hi, normally a power cycle will clear previous logs, so normally after a reboot and even an unexpected factory reset, there should be no yesterday's logs.

Please check the router system time to see if it is correct.

Regarding the log contents, it is not related to factory reset, the LED controller related logs mean the light status on the router, such as WAN 0 OFF, WAN 1 ON means Internet LED is green, so it seems no issue.
