Running 6ghz off satellite deco only
I currently have a Deco mesh that consists of three X68 units (one is the main) that the 2 satellite units connect via wifi, and also two X20 units as satellites that connect via ethernet back to the main unit. I am wanting to switch out one of the X20 units for an XE75 pro and use that unit to broadcast on WiFi-6E a 6ghz signal only for use by a VR headset in the same room as I do not want any other traffic etc interfering as it currently does with 5ghz.
My question is, will I be able to activate the 6ghz from the satellite XE75 unit or will it only activate 6ghz if it is set as the main unit?
Thank you.

Hi, yes, Deco XE75 pro would still broadcast 6Ghz when working as the satellite unit.
Best regards.

@David-TP I have just received my XE75-Pro (I updated to latest firmware) and set it up as a satellite unit, when ever I try to activate the 6ghz channel it automatically reverts back to backhaul only. No matter what I do this continues to happen. The only way I have found is to have the XE75-Pro set as the main unit which unfortunately does not work for me as that then puts the unit to far from where I need it to be.
Seems I will either have to buy another and then use 1 as a main unit and the 2nd unit where I need it or return it as it does not do what I need it to do which is broadcast a 6ghz signal whilst being a satellite unit.
If you have any suggestions on why this is happening and how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.
