Hi, Archer BE550 2.4G WiFi does not support WiFi 7(802.11be), on the specification of this model, you can see the maximum 2.4G WiFi speed supported is for 802.11ax.
The emulator is for reference only. Please refer to the product specifications for accuracy.

My educated guess is that this is implemented in higher router models like BE800 and up:
#1 leads to #2, i.e.

This is a basic feature that be550 (BE9300) also supports.
It's just a firmware bug issue.

@kch140 It's a shame TP-link removed the 2.4GHz band from the ad, but forget to remove the word 'TRI band wifi 7' and number 9.2 GHz wifi 7 from it. Either way, I think it's a firmware bug. If it's not a bug, it's an outright lie to customers. The feature is even written on the box that the router came in.
Here's the current ad image
@Sunshine You just can't say 2.4GHz isn't supported when you advertised as it does. It's also written on the box!

I bought 2weeks ago mine BE550v1 and on the box shows that:
MLO in all tri-bands.
There is more false information. Also is a weaker signal then should be in all band.
i hope they do finally an optimalization of firmware soon as possible, and fix/optimize all problems.
Im sad i pay 300$ and advertising & specification don't meet with real product what we got :(
Seems all good reviews was paid... or some ppl just ignoring that how it working and they think should be like that lol.

Can you comment or answer why on the box showing MLO works on all bands in BE550? :)

Any update on this blatant bait & switch? I smell a class action lawsuit incoming. The advertisement changed to remove 2.4GHz MLO sometime between March 29, 2024 and May 15, 2024.

Mine also doesn't show 2.4ghz, but when I was setting it up for the first time it had the option to select 2.4ghz + 5ghz + 6ghz, now after the update I only have the option to select 5ghz + 6ghz.
As mine arrived today I'm seriously considering returning it due to false marketing. They REMOVED features, actually the only feature I was looking for when I bought this router.
